Pine Ridge Kennel Club-October 1-3    Out Gemini goes.  To the show that is.  Handled all three days by Blair Elford- whom we thank.  Friday she goes Best of Breed and then on to a Group 4th.(j. M. Woods)  Sunday she goes Group 3rd in an outstanding field of competitors, including top winning Best In Show dogs.  (j.V. Lyne)  Thank you to the judges for recognizing Gem's beauty.

Belleville District Kennel Club- October 23    Gemini, entered just one day, takes Best of Breed handled this time by owner Shannon Haslett.  Gem had a fun time in the group ring also.    Chief, now back with the Vanderbilt crew went to his first show this weekend and got Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed and a Group 4th, add to that a Best Puppy in Group and that leads to 3 points for this guy!    Also to mention, is Gem's full sister, Q (coming back to Canada to get her championship-after receiving her American just recently), taking Winners Bitch and Best of Winners plus a Best of Opposite Sex placement in the Healthgene Corporation's Breeder's show!    Obviously a well-worth trip for all the gang!

Congrats go out to Cheif who received Winners Dog all 3 days and Best of Winners /Best of Breed for four more points under j's Shirley Limoges, Lawrence Stanbridge and Charlotte Clem McGowan (USA). Chief also picked up a BPIG under j. Robert Stein (USA) at the Trillium Dog Fanciers show October 29-31.
