This crazy and fun journey I have embarked on couldn't have been started, or continued, without the help and advice of a few experienced dog fanciers. Leslie Jocelyn (Takenak Samoyeds) is the friend, and co-owner of Gem, who helped me find my first little girl, Gemini. Leslie pointed me in the direction of Gem's breeders, Judi and Blair Elford (Vanderbilt Samoyeds). Leslie is also the friend who spiked my interest in the Samoyed breed after seeing her 6 beautiful Sams. If it weren't for her, I would not be participating in the world of dogs and Gem and I would not be together! She truly is a Sam expert and a wonderful friend!    Judi and Blair Elford (Vanderbilt Samoyeds) are the breeders of Gemini, and many other great Sams! Since our first contact they have been very helpful and informative.  Always available to help out at shows and for advice, many of questions have been answered by these Sam experts.  They are not only my mentors but also good friends. Christina Koffman-Heard and Brad Heard (Summerford Newfoundlands) have helped me train my dogs and have encouraged me through the journey I'm taking.
